Kusina Rx: A Culinary Medicine Experience Launches VirtuallyWe had a successful first-week launch of our 6-Week Virtual Culinary Medicine Cooking Classes where the art of food and cooking blends with the science of medicine. The class opened with a short video presentation on kitchen safety tips followed by principles of Mediterranean Diet. We had a knife skills demonstration before we launched into cooking our recipe for the day—taco! I’d like to thank our sponsors, who enabled me to offer this module at no cost to the community. They generously supported the licensure and maintenance of this programming.
